Is there anything more versatile than sprinkles? We think not! They are the perfect way to dress up cakes, cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, and donuts. You can even eat them straight out of the bag (that’s not just us, is it?). Read our interview with our friend Rosie, founder of Neon Yolk, to learn about this sprinktacular business.

NeonYolk is based out of Austin, TX and was founded in 2016 out of my love of baking and sprinkles! My own collection had grown a bit out of control but I still found myself on the hunt for unique sprinkles and combinations that would fit themed treats. We provide custom and contemporary sprinkle mixes for the sunny side of life! I’ve always known that I wanted my own business and playing with sprinkles every day seemed like a dream come true. The name was inspired from egg yolks my husband and I use in baking that are farm fresh. They were so bright yellow they were almost….neon! I can honestly say I love what I do, not only because I can play with sprinkles but I’ve had the opportunity to meet wonderful baking professionals and enthusiasts

What makes your product unique?

Our shop is unique because we provide a fully customizable option!

If you have a birthday, wedding, baby shower or event coming up where you’ll be making your own treats we can help you provide that special touch that will make them extra memorable! I love hearing from our customers about their special events and working together to create something that is truly one of a kind. We also provide an extensive line of already mixed sprinkles that include hard to find sprinkles as well as colors you won’t find in traditional retailers.

Currently we only sell our products on Etsy while we set up our website.

How long have you been working with ClearBags™ and how does ClearBags™ help you succeed?

ClearBags has been an essential part of my business since I started! We will be coming up on our one year anniversary this September. When I was getting my business set up I relied on the amazing customer support team to answer my multiple questions. What one piece of packaging advice would you give to other business owners?

One piece of advice I would have is not to be afraid to ask questions! That’s why there are professionals! Always be open to trying a few options and see what works best. I do have another piece of advice and that’s the little details do matter. I went out of my way to create an experience when you receive a package from us and I consistently get feedback from our customers about how much they appreciate it!
