Holiday DIY: Christmas Cookie Gift Boxes
With December right around the corner, we wanted to share one of our favorite gift ideas. During the holidays, food and gifts are abundant, so why not give food AS gifts! Being both popular and thoughtful, homemade treats are just as fun to give as they are to receive.
Here is what you will need to create this holiday cookie kit:
- Sugar Cookie Mix
- Sprinkles
- Stamp or Cookie Cutter
- (2) SFB23 Flat Heat Seal Bags
- (1) SFB66 Flat Heat Seal Bag
- (1) FS231 Kraft Tapered Tote Box
- Heat Sealer, clear stickers or tin ties
- Stickers or other embellishments
Step 1: Prep the ingredients and fill the inner bags
First, start by filling the larger flat heat seal bag with the sugar cookie mix and using a heat sealer or alternative option to seal closed (We used 1 package of Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix which holds approximately 1 lb of mix, but you can also find a homemade recipe online that will work just as well.). Do the same with the smaller flat heat seal bags with sprinkles of your choice.
Step 2: Put it all in the box
Next, pop open the kraft outer box. Layer the sugar cookie mix on the bottom, the sprinkles in the front, and then finish by putting your cutter or stamp on top!
Step 3: Make it look pretty!
Lastly, secure box and adorn with some cute stickers or other embellishments and voila! Your cookie box is finished. Gift with a cute spatula for added festiveness!
Remember you can mix up these easy Christmas cookies with different sprinkles or icings, or really anything to make your kit as unique as you are!
