Featured Customer: Feast Fine Art and Calligraphy
Chicago native Alissa Mazzenga founded Feast Fine Art and Calligraphy on a deep love for both fine art and calligraphy, and a desire to offer beautiful products to her customers in a way that truly connected with them. She believes in bringing beauty, inspiration, and joy to her customers through custom wedding invitations, stationery design, and fine art prints. We asked Alissa a little about her company and to share any art packing tips she may have with us.
What makes your product unique?
My products are unique in that they offer a very thoughtful approach to both fine art and stationery design in a world that often feels mass-produced. It reflects an artist’s eye in both skill and detail, but also a desire to truly connect with those who purchase my products or hire me to create something that is custom and unique to them.
How do you package your products and what ClearBags products do you use?
I use a variety of sizes of ClearBag’s Crystal Clear Bags for protection and shipping of my fine art prints. Most of my work is sold and shipped through my online website, so I am very particular about how it is sent off in the mail. After enclosing my prints in Crystal Clear Bags, I add a few additional branded details and sandwich the art in between two pieces of rigid foam core before shipping in a rigid mailer.
Where do you primarily sell your product?
On my website – www.feastcalligraphy.com
How long have you been working with ClearBags and how does ClearBags help you succeed?
I have been working with ClearBags for the past three to four years. ClearBags has enhanced the presentation of my art prints and stationery products, which I believe is very important to the overall experience that a customer and art appreciator has of my work.
What one piece of packaging advice would you give to other business owners?
Learn from what has worked well for others, but take your time in putting together your packaging. Do your research and give yourself the joy of feeling truly proud of your work or product, and the way in which it is presented.
