This weeks Featured Customer is Olivia Macaron. We spoke with Ana Claudia about her fantastic pastry company and what she uses to package her delectable macarons.
Tell us a little about your company:
At Olivia Macaron, we craft handmade, fresh macarons that are kosher and always gluten-free. Our company was founded by Michel, our pastry chef, and Ana Claudia, our business extraordinaire; they came together with a mutual adoration of traditional French macarons and the desire to share them with their neighbors in Washington, DC.
Before Olivia, Michel worked in one of France’s most prestigious macaron houses for over 10 years, where he perfected the art of creating a delicious and beautiful macaron. He came back to the USA with his family and started a very successful online business selling his creations. Ana Claudia had been working in finance for a mortgage conglomerate until her daughter, little Olivia, came into the picture. When Olivia was born, Ana Claudia left finance and embraced her role of motherhood – and of macaron enthusiast.
Three years later, Olivia Macaron is growing in leaps and bounds – still and always with the desire to share the elegant beauty and deliciousness of this French treat!

How do you package your products and what ClearBags® products do you use?
All of our packaging is chosen so that it highlights the beauty of our macarons while keeping them secure. To achieve this, we use ClearBags Crystal Clear Boxes and High Clarity Flat Bottom Gusset Bags.
Where do you sell your product?
Since we’ve opened our first location in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC, we’ve had our minds set on sharing our delicious treats with the world! We have a second location in Tysons Corner, Virginia, and as we type this, we are working on our third location in Bethesda, Maryland. We also ship our macarons nationally via our website.
