Mother’s Day is this weekend! Make something your mom will love. Here are a few ideas for some simple DIYs you can make to show her your love!
Bath Salts
Who doesn’t enjoy a relaxing bath? Spoil your mom this Mother’s Day with some homemade bath salts in her favorite scent! Bath salts are simple to make and easy to customize. Wholehearted Eats shares a simple bath salt recipe with endless possibilities of scents and add-ins.
Start with 3 cups of Epsom Salts, ½ cup of baking soda, and 1 cup of sea salt (coarse or fine). Mix in a few drops of essential oils and different dried flowers or blossoms to give your salt fragrance and texture. Some of the most popular scents include lavender, eucalyptus, rosemary, or bergamot but you can mix and match any scents to create something totally unique. For example: lemon, orange, and thyme for energy, eucalyptus and peppermint for clear breathing, and lemon and rosemary for a clear mind.
