Adore-able Valentines
Is there anything better than exchanging chocolate with your friends and loved ones? We don’t think so! With only 2 weeks left until Valentine’s Day, we wanted to share a simple valentine idea that we adore.
Here is what you will need to create this :
- Envelopes: We chose 2 different sized glassine envelopes, our G6 and G12
- Clothespins: We found these at the infamous Target™ Dollar Spot
- Stickers: Another Target Dollar Spot find
- Candy or chocolate of your choice
Step 1: Lay out your supplies
After you decide how many valentines you need, lay out your envelopes. We chose 2 different sized glassine envelopes to mix things up a bit, and we loved to see all the different pink hues of the candy through the envelope material. Take out your stickers or other embellishments, a hole punch and ribbon would also make these very cute!
Step 2: Get your candy ready
Gummies? Chocolate? Candy? Lollipops? Yes, all of it is a yes! We are equal opportunity sweets lovers and we believe you can fill these with ANYTHING you want (as long as it fits in the envelope)! We do recommend individually packed items if you plan on handing these out. You can mix them up, or fill your envelopes with the same kind.
Step 3: Fill and embellish
Wasn’t that easy? After you have all of your envelopes filled with candy, close them on up, alternating between clothespins and stickers!
Some other ideas for closure are: ribbons, twine, stapled header cards and even doilies folded over!
