This month we are excited to feature Inklings Paperie, whose products go the extra mile to be not only the cutest, but also useful and fun! Read our interview with Lindsay to learn more about her business.

Tell us a little about your company:

Inklings Paperie is a small design studio based in the greater Detroit area. At Inklings, we create whimsical stationery, party decorations and paper keepsakes. All of our products are designed and printed in the USA using sustainably sourced materials. Our tagline, “Love in the little things” influences every aspect of what we do. Our paper goods are born out of a love for beautiful typography, thoughtful design, and a dash of whimsy. We believe in the power of the handwritten note, and are committed to creating products that inspire kindness and bring joy to life’s many little celebrations!

What makes your product unique?

We’ve approached stationery with a fresh perspective, and are always trying to do something different and unique while maintaining a strong focus on design. We have a wide range of products in our line, but one of the most popular categories is our scratch-off cards: just write a message in the blank area and cover it with the sticker, then scratch to reveal your own handwritten surprise! Nearly all of our products were designed with some type of interactive element to them, and I think this unexpected element is what keeps people guessing at what we’ll come up with next!

How do you package your products and what ClearBags™ products do you use?

Our scratch-off party games are packaged in FB36 Crystal Clear Boxes.
We package our Tooth Fairy Kit and One Minute Memory Book in a kraft paper base (KR31) and slipcover (SC31)
Our foil-printed cocktail napkins are packaged in FB11 Crystal Clear Boxes.

All of our greeting cards are packaged in B54PC Protective Closure Bags. We appreciate the closure at the top to keep all of the various components of our cards together.

Where do you sell your product?

We sell our products on our own website (inklingspaperie.com), as well as with over 200 retailers in the U.S. and internationally. Some of the larger retailers we’ve partnered with include Target, Bloomingdale’s, Paper Source, and BHLDN (Anthropologie).
