S’mores are a staple to any camping trip, beach vacation, or summer night bonfire. Today we are showing you some packaging options to make your very own s’mores kit.
We offer a variety of packaging options to make your very own custom s’mores kit, including bag and box options. All of these packaging solutions hold the graham crackers, marshmallows, and the chocolate.
IGTV: S’mores Kit – Bags
Our flap seal bags make a quick and easy s’mores set that can be pre-made to pack for a camping trip or to hand out to the kids to assemble their own s’mores around the campfire.
Flap Seal Bags come in hundreds of sizes, but for this video we are showing the B47. Simply slide your ingredients inside this crystal clear bag, pull off the resealable adhesive, and fold over to secure the bag closed. If using it for a wedding favor, you can then add a custom sticker over the flap to match with the theme.
Flat Bottom Gusset Bags are another great option to make these delicious kits. The white paper insert located in the bottom of the bag helps support the ingredients and allows this bag to stand on its own. This is great for a favor table at birthday parties, weddings, baby showers, and other events. Gusset bags can be closed using a piece of ribbon, twine, pre-tied bow, or even heat sealed. For a party, you can add a gift tag to the ribbon for a custom look. In this video, we are using item FGPB5.
Boxes
The most popular option for making a s’mores kit is a crystal clear box. These boxes come flat and can easily be folded into shape to hold the contents of the s’mores kit. Boxes are made from 12 mil food safe material and provide added protection to help the crackers from breaking. Layer the contents inside the box and wrap a piece of ribbon or twine around it to complete the look. Again for parties and events, add a custom sticker or gift tag. Boxes can be stacked on a table or used as centerpieces. In the video we show two box options that are 3” squares. The first is FB58 which is a soft fold box and the second is PLB58 which features a pop and lock bottom.
3 Easy Steps to Create a S’mores Kit using our PLB58:
- Place up to 6 graham crackers into the box first. They will sit flat at the bottom of the box.
- Slide 2 pieces of chocolate (a Hershey’s bar broken in half) down the side
- Insert 4 marshmallows on top of the graham crackers
